Five days after announcing his intentions to run for the open seat being vacated by Senator Thad Cochran, McDaniel’s campaign has named 82 county chairs and has over a thousand volunteers.

Whether discussions with Mitch McConnell over the seat currently held by Thad Cochran is the silliest charge Governor Phil Bryant has ever heard or not, his response to reporters that McConnell hasn’t attempted to influence the governor’s decision is definitely one of silliest things the governor has ever uttered.
